Piccini Bastioni Appasimento 2021

A richly flavoured red from sun-drenched southern Italy, made using the traditional appassimento method, where grapes are partially dried on the vine to intensify flavour without excessive weight. This blend offers the plush fruit of Primitivo and the earthy depth of Negroamaro in perfect harmony.

Expect vibrant ruby red colour with orange flecks, and a bouquet of ripe berries, cherry jam and warm spice. The palate is smooth and fruit-forward, with a touch of dried fruit sweetness balanced by a clean, fresh finish.
