Shipping Policy

Thank you for shopping with Hi-Spirits HK. This Shipping Policy explains our delivery arrangements, estimated delivery times, age-verification requirements, and delivery limitations for orders placed through https://hi-spiritshk.com/.

1. Delivery Area

We currently deliver within Hong Kong using SF Express or other suitable delivery partners where necessary.

Delivery availability may depend on the delivery address, SF Express service coverage, building access, weather, courier restrictions, public holidays, or other operational factors.

2. Alcohol Sales & Age Requirement

Under the law of Hong Kong, intoxicating liquor must not be sold or supplied to a minor in the course of business. This applies to both face-to-face and remote/online sales. Remote alcohol sellers must also display the required notice and obtain an age declaration.

By placing an order with Hi-Spirits HK, you confirm that you are 18 years old or above and legally permitted to purchase alcohol in Hong Kong.

The recipient may be required to provide proof of age upon delivery or collection. If age verification cannot be completed, or if the recipient is under 18, delivery may be refused and the order may be cancelled or returned. Any refund may be subject to deduction of reasonable delivery, return, storage, payment processing, or administrative costs.

3. Order Processing Time

Orders are usually processed during our normal business days:

Monday to Saturday, excluding Hong Kong public holidays.

Our standard order cut-off time is:

2:00 PM Hong Kong Time

Orders placed after the cut-off time may be processed on the next business day.

4. Estimated Delivery Time

Estimated delivery time is generally:

1–3 business days after order processing

This includes:

  • Handling time: 0–1 business day
  • Transit time: 1–2 business days

Some Hong Kong residential addresses, remote areas, outlying islands, restricted buildings, or special delivery locations may require extra time. SF Express notes that shipments collected from or delivered to residential or remote areas may require an additional business day.

Delivery estimates are provided for reference only and are not guaranteed.

5. Shipping Days

Orders are generally packed and handed to the courier on:

Monday to Saturday

We do not guarantee Sunday or Hong Kong public holiday dispatch.

SF Express service hours and availability may vary by location, service point, locker, pickup option, public holiday, and courier arrangement. Some SF locations may operate on Sundays or public holidays, but this is not guaranteed for every order.

6. Shipping Fees

Shipping fees, if applicable, will be shown at checkout before payment is completed.

Shipping fees may vary depending on:

  • Delivery address
  • Product quantity or weight
  • Courier service type
  • Residential, remote-area, or special-location surcharge
  • Promotional free-shipping offers
  • Failed delivery or redelivery arrangements

Any applicable delivery surcharge may be charged to the customer before dispatch or upon delivery where required by the courier.

7. SF Express Collection / Pickup Options

Where available, customers may choose delivery to an SF Express service point, SF Store, EF Locker, or other supported pickup location.

Customers are responsible for collecting the order within the time limit set by SF Express. If an order is not collected on time and is returned, additional delivery, return, storage, or administrative fees may apply.

The person collecting the order must be 18 years old or above and may be required to provide proof of age.

8. Failed Delivery

Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate delivery information.

Delivery may fail or be delayed due to:

  • Incorrect or incomplete address
  • Missing flat, floor, building, or contact details
  • Recipient unavailable
  • Recipient refusing delivery
  • Failed age verification
  • Courier unable to access the building
  • Delivery restrictions at the location
  • Weather, traffic, public holiday, or operational disruption

If delivery fails, we may contact you to arrange redelivery or pickup where possible. Additional delivery, return, redelivery, storage, or administrative fees may apply.

9. Delivery to Adults Only

Orders containing alcoholic beverages must be received by a person aged 18 or above.

We reserve the right to request proof of age before dispatch, during delivery, or upon collection. Delivery or collection may be refused if the recipient cannot provide valid age verification when requested.

10. Damaged or Missing Items During Delivery

Please check your order as soon as possible after delivery or collection.

If your order arrives damaged, incomplete, or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery or collection.

Please provide:

  • Order number
  • Photos or videos of the product
  • Photos of the outer box and inner packaging
  • Photos of the bottle, label, seal, and any damage
  • Delivery record or courier note, if available

Please keep the product, bottle, packaging, and delivery box until we have reviewed your case.

Approved delivery damage or missing-item claims may be resolved by replacement, exchange, store credit, or refund, depending on product availability and the circumstances.

11. Delivery Delays

We will make reasonable efforts to dispatch orders promptly, but delivery times may be affected by factors outside our control, including:

  • Courier delays
  • Peak shopping seasons
  • Public holidays
  • Severe weather
  • Road closures or traffic disruption
  • Building access restrictions
  • Remote-area delivery arrangements
  • Customs, regulatory, or courier checks where applicable

Hi-Spirits HK is not responsible for delays caused by the courier or events outside our reasonable control, but we will assist customers where possible.

12. Incorrect Address or Change of Address

Please ensure your delivery address and contact number are correct before placing your order.

Once an order has been packed, dispatched, or handed to the courier, we may not be able to change the delivery address.

If a change of address is possible, additional delivery or administrative fees may apply.

13. Order Tracking

Where tracking is available, we will provide tracking details by email, SMS, WhatsApp, or through your order confirmation page.

Tracking updates are provided by the courier and may take time to appear after dispatch.

14. Cancellation Before Dispatch

If you need to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible.

We may not be able to cancel an order once it has been packed, dispatched, collected by the courier, specially ordered, or prepared for pickup.

If cancellation is approved, any refund may be subject to deduction of reasonable payment processing, delivery, return, or administrative costs already incurred.
