Description: Heineken Beer pale lager was first brewed by Gerard Adriaan Heineken in 1873 at his Amsterdam brewery. It is brewed only with purified water, malted barley, hops and importantly Heineken A-yeast, a proprietary yeast strain developed by H.Elion in 1886.

TASTING NOTES

• Nose - A malty cereal and fruity yeast base compliment the hop bitterness aromas.

• Taste - The malty sweetness and biscuity notes (which some have compared to sweet corn) are followed by subtle, fruity, citrusy notes.
