Cielo de’Conti Appassimento 100 x 100 2021 is a rich, expressive red from Puglia made using the traditional appassimento method, where Primitivo and Negroamaro (with a touch of Sangiovese) are partially dried on the vine to intensify flavor. This 100% appassimento wine delivers a vibrant garnet hue and an alluring nose of dried cranberries, currants, nutmeg, pepper, black cherries, plums, dried figs, dark chocolate, sweet spices, tobacco, and vanilla.

On the palate, it’s full-bodied and round with silky, sweet tannins, bountiful ripe black fruit flavors (plum, blackberry, black cherry, raisin), supported by layers of vanilla, cinnamon, clove, tobacco, and warm mocha . The wine shows excellent structure, precise acidity, and a long, smooth finish rich in raisiny and spicy Appassimento character.
