Full Product Description
Angelo Negro Roero DOCG Arneis Serra Lupini 2024 is a fresh and characterful Italian white wine from Roero DOCG in Piedmont, made from the native Arneis grape. Roero Arneis is known for its aromatic fruit, floral lift, mineral freshness, and gentle almond-like bitterness, making it one of Piedmont’s most enjoyable dry white wine styles.
The official Angelo Negro technical sheet lists Arneis from the Roero production area, with vineyards at 280–320m altitude, south-west and west exposure, and calcareous-sandy soils. The wine is fermented in stainless steel at 15°C–17°C, with no malolactic fermentation, then matured in stainless steel for a minimum of 4 months on fine lees with bâtonnage to add texture while keeping freshness.
The wine shows an intense straw-yellow colour, with a fresh aromatic profile of grapefruit, peach, lychee, Golden Delicious apple, pear, yellow fruits, white flowers, herbs, and subtle mineral notes. On the palate, it is crisp, fruity, pleasantly tart, and lightly textured, with bright acidity, sandy-soil minerality, and a characteristic slightly bitter finish. Retail tasting notes for the 2024 vintage also highlight grapefruit aromatics, peach, lychee, Golden Delicious apple, and a “chill, shake, serve” style due to residual yeast presence.
This is a great choice for customers looking for a refined Italian white wine that is more distinctive than a simple Pinot Grigio, but still fresh, approachable, and food-friendly. Serve it with seafood, prawns, shellfish, grilled fish, fresh pasta, salads, goat cheese, cured meats, lean meats, vegetarian dishes, and light Italian-style meals.

Serving Suggestion
Serve well chilled at around 8°C–10°C. Open just before serving to preserve its grapefruit, peach, apple, floral, herbal, and mineral freshness. Some 2024 listings mention a light cloudy appearance from residual yeast and suggest “chill, shake, serve”; please confirm from the bottle style before using that instruction in your final product page.
